Have you wanted to get more active but didn’t know where or how to start?
Have you wished you understood more about the issues facing our legislators? Would you like a chance to share your views with those legislators? This is your opportunity to get involved. Decisions are made by those who show up. Make sure that when the votes are in, win or lose, you can say “I showed up, I was counted!”
Our mission is to promote women in government and to encourage women to participate in the political process, either as a candidate or within the campaign. We want to ensure that every Republican Woman in the county knows about the BCRW and has access to meetings and events. Board members love to attend local Republican Club meetings to introduce the BCRW to their members.

The Executive Committee is chaired by the President and consists of the elected officers of the board and other members appointed by the President. The committee meets every two months to discuss the business of the organization
The Program Committee recommends programs for BCRW meetings. For regular meetings, they arrange the venue, coordinate with the speaker, prepare flyers and notices, and coordinate publicity with the Marketing committee.
The Membership Committee maintains an accurate and current membership list, provides reports to the membership, and sends an annual invitation to renew or join to the mailing list. They organize a “membership desk” at BCRW functions and other local Republican functions.
A Nominating Committee is formed every two years, composed of three members in good standing appointed by the President. The Nominating Committee presents a slate of nominees for each office of the BCRW Executive Board to the general membership. Voting shall occur at the biennial reorganization meeting.
The Marketing Committee develops and implements strategies to communicate the mission of the BCRW and stimulate interest in the organization. They utilize social media, promotional materials, newsletters, press releases, and other materials necessary to implement its marketing strategy. They coordinate with the other standing committees in encouraging new members, attracting new donors, and promoting the activities of the organization.
The Fundraising Committee develops ideas for BCRW activities to generate funds for donation to member-candidates’ campaigns.
